| Going to have standards in farming pangasius |
| On August 5, in Ho Chi Minh city, the fourth seminar of discussing farming pangasius was took place. The seminar have discussed opinions about the draft of standards in farming pangasius which was revealed to collect opinions, methods of solving and changing draft of the standards. |
Mr Flavio Corsin, consultant of aquaculture of Vietnam World Wide Fund says: the standards would solve main problems of environment and society relating to pangasius farming.
It is expected that at the end of 2009, these standards will be finished to submit to Council of managing aquaculture, this agency will be responsible to work with the third independent party to issue certificate to farms which meet the demand of these standards.
