The quarantine station on highway 1A, in Tac Van town, the gateway to enter the Ca Mau city said, from the begin of year till now, this station quarantined nearly 3billions breeders importing from provinces, the rest of them can’t quarantine because the enterprises transported shrimp by various way in order to avoid managing and quarantining of the appropriate authorities. For this, most of farmers can’t know which breeders are good and quarantined already; this influenced to power, benefit of raising shrimp in Ca Mau in past time.
The raising shrimp’s power in Ca Mau in past years is lower than other provinces in area. In 2008, the raising shrimp’s power of province got 356kg/ha in average while Bac Lieu province got 500 kg/ha; Soc Trang got 1.200kg/ha… Ca Mau has a breakthrough in developing the project in order to develop absolutely the potentiality of land, enhance totally the effect of producing shrimp-rice. In which, Ca Mau develops imediately in checking and investigating and arranging again the enterprises of breeders in area. In order to producing the high quality breed shrimp, establishments need to build correctly the technical process, the parental Black Tiger shrimp without diseases is bought the genuine sea shrimp and just reproduce one time. Before selling to farmers, it must quarantine by certifying the breed without diseases, then packing, noting clearly the trade name.
