Recently, the Shrimp Seeds No.1 Company of Bac Lieu province has provided more than 2,200,000 black tiger shrimp seeds, worth around VND100 million, to more than 100 poor households in two districts of Tran De and Vinh Chau, Soc Trang province. Averagely, the quantity of shrimp seeds provided for each household varied from 6,000 to 48,000 animals, depending on their particular farming area.
This practical activity helped poor households to have better condition for production and stabilize their life, contributed to hunger elimination and poverty reduction at the locality. |
